James Cook Pub and Cafe

James Cook Cafe and Pub is a stylish pub and a cozy coffee house under the same roof. It breathes life into the newly renovated Malaia Koniushennaia.

The menu is based around succulent steaks and classic European Sandwiches. The Pub presents 18 types of beer on tap. The cafe offers a huge selection of coffees from all over the world- Ethiopia, Guatemala and Kenya, among others while the pub side has an excellent selection of drinks.

Despite the name and the obvious attempts at English pub decor, the setting is rather modern. They serve coffee, salads and burgers along with beer. Upon entering James Cook you have a choice: turn right for the pub with a decent menu or left for one of the finest coffee shops in town.

Choose from 40 kinds of coffee, elite teas, various coffee cocktails, and desserts. The breakfast deal at the coffee shop is one of the best in town: will buy you a hot dish plus coffee or tea, toast, and a choice of yogurt or fruit salad. There is Live music from Thursday to Saturday 8 p.m. onwards.
