Time Out, a very fashionable place that attracts a young, good looking clientele acts as a magnet when a crucial sporting event is being shown.

Important football matches in particular lure both ex- pats and locals from other drinking establishments and space on these occasions at Time Out can be at a premium.

Attention is focused naturally on the large screen in the corner but there are two regular T.V sets as well, one of them situated in the pool room, so you can keep track of events on the pitch in- between shots.

There are sporting mementos plastered all over the walls, from every conceivable spectator sport. During important matches the atmosphere is obviously a little rowdy, and the bar attracts much of the St. Petersburg ex- pat populace, though Russians do go there as well.

Foreign- owned Time Out is a lively place to watch football. There is a big and small screen, pool and English videos for rent. Try the tasty pizzas, which you can also take away.
