Dunes Golf and Country Club

Dunes Golf and Country Club offers you a fine game of golf at prices that does not tax your pocket. This club was established 4 years ago on the territory of the Soviet resort village 'Dunes', 38m kilometers north of the city centre.

There is a driving range, putting green, executive golf course (6 holes, par 18), a mini- golf course (18 holes) and 5 hirable cottages if you fancy staying the night.

Membership options begin from a 2- month card, but visitors are also welcome. The golf season here runs from the beginning of May until the end of November. They started with an 18 hole miniature golf course in 1997. It was followed by a driving range and a putting green in 1996.

This course is ideal for beginners to take up the game and to learn the rules. Although all holes are short par 3s, scratch players say that this course is tough enough to challenge them and is a good practice facility to improve the short game. Since the first part of July 2002, DUNES Golf & Country Club offers foreign tourists new opportunities for golf playing in the Northern Capital of Russia.
